A Mt. Tabor Portrait Session in Portland, Oregon

5/18/2020

Hi there! I’m back with a new blog. No blogs for eight months and two in a row, who AM I. Let’s close our eyes and imagine September of 2019. A happier time, a warmer time, a simpler time. #SocialDistancing wasn’t a trending hashtag, masks were only worn in hospitals, pasta and milk were still in stock. Ah, bliss.

My friend Elle and I went for a stroll around my old neighborhood in Portland on one of these wonderful, mask-free September days. She’s incredibly photogenic, ridiculously stylish, and one of my closest friends.

We had so much fun, and I love the turnout. It doesn’t help that 1) she’s a total babe and 1) the lighting was off the charts. We found this willow tree on the sidewalk and got just the most gorgeous images of her peering at me through the leaves. It was wonderful finding such beauty in seemingly normal things on the sidewalk. We strolled around, catching up on all the hot gossip on our lives, and pausing every now and then to get a shot when the lighting looked particularly good.

Hiiii sorry do you mind * calming down * with that GORGEOUS FACE.

It was a lovely evening with a lovely friend, and I’m happy with the photos that I got. Like I said last week, it’s been really fun looking through old images and finding my favorite photos to share.

I’ll be back soon, remember to stay safe and wash your hands!
