The Barn At Countryside | Wedding | Aurora, OR

Ah, what a day. It was such an honor to photograph Andrea and Michael’s day. It was clear from the way they spoke to each other, their pure excitement and joy all day, and the theme among every speech given that their love was true, fun, and compassionate. I felt so privileged to watch them share their vows and may or may not have actually cried. It was a long drive for me and the longest I had been away from my five-month-old, but thankfully I got lots of photo updates throughout the day from my husband!

The venue was The Barn at Countryside, and it was stunning. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect - not too hot, with a clear blue sky. I’ve never had such a dramatic window to hang a wedding dress in before!

The bridal sweet was glamorous and wonderful and all her bridesmaids and family were so fun to work with! She had a ton of family with little ones, so it was chaotic and loud and everyone was in the best mood.

I just love these little intimate moments of getting ready. It’s always my goal to capture the tiny spaces in time that really capture how the day went!

The most gorgeous group of gals! We all mingled together at the top of the stairs before the ceremony. Andrea wasn’t planning on seeing John before the ceremony, so he was tucked away downstairs.

It was a beautiful and sweet ceremony. Look at that blue sky! Andrea’s bouquet was so cool - the greenery was Lambs Ear and the textures added so much to her outfit.

The lighting all day was perfection, but as the sun started to go down, I could tell the Golden Hour was going to be off the charts.

The simplicity of the venue - with all the doors flung open and light pouring in - was so stunning and fun to photograph. The lighting for these first dances couldn’t have been better! Once dances were over, I stole the couple away for some portraits and oh my GOD, it was unreal. Just…scroll.

It was a beautiful summer day with a beautiful couple. I’m so happy I was there! Thank you to Andrea and John for having me.
