An Orchard Wedding in Hood River, Oregon

Maurizio and Jessie. This whole day gave serious MamaMia vibes - and when a wedding gives MamaMia vibes you know it’s going to be a good one. The wedding was at Maurizio’s family home in Hood River, Oregon - and it is stunning. Right in the middle of an orchard with an incredible view of Mt. Hood, the day couldn’t have been more perfect. I went to high school with Maurizio so I knew half the people attending the wedding, so it was a blast from start to finish.

Jessie’s dress was SO gorgeous. The goofy sleeves and her gorgeous hair that her sister curled - and these photos of her getting her jewelry put on by her sisters!! I cannot.

There is something so magical about a backyard wedding - especially when the house is such a focal point of the ceremony. Maurizio grew up in this home - and for him and Jessie to vow their love to each other in the same location is just oh so special. We all cried.

Unfortunately, Maurizio’s best man contracted Covid right before the wedding, so his speech was made from the deck of the house with a megaphone, and they sat with drinks partying from a far all night long. True friendship!

These two were high on love the whole time we took these photos. They couldn’t stop touching each other and laughing and kissing and just breathing each other in. It was joyful to witness - that special real kind of love is so incredible.
