A Cooper Spur Mountain Resort Wedding in Hood River, Oregon

Right in the heart of Mt. Hood, 40 minutes from Hood River, Oregon, is Cooper Spur Mountain Resort. I had the privilege of photographing this gorgeous Sarah Joy and Andrew’s wedding in the heat of July. Radiating a whimsical bohemian charm, the bride wore the most stunning lace dress paired with a delicate flower crown, perfectly complementing the rustic elegance of the venue. I’m a sucker for a flower crown, so I knew we’d get along great.

We love a maroon suit! And a flower hat?? 10/10.

First looks can be tough, but Andrew and Sarah Joy nailed it. They were genuinely so excited to see each other, it was adorable. Look at the tassels on her wedding dress!! Are you kidding me.

Their ceremony was set up in a circle, so everyone had a front-row seat. It was intimate and friendly, casual yet romantic. I loved it.

THE SPEECHES omfg you guys I was sobbing. So beautiful, so heartfelt. Her dad’s speech was practically poetry. I loved it.

Cooper Spur Mountain Resort is literally just right in the heart of the forest, with fresh, green trees all around us. It was so easy to get some portraits of the two of them.
