Hi there! I’m Hazel.

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2019, but shot my first wedding back in 2010. Every season when I get to pick up my camera for the first time in a few weeks, I’m reminded how much I love this job. The creativity, the joy, the love, the passion, the laughs, meeting the couple and their family, making friends with the bridal party…I’m so fortunate to do what I do. Coming from a large family myself, and with two small children, it’s such a gift to watch two people commit themselves to each other.

My favorite thing…

Capturing the moment. THE moment. The scrap of lace slipping over her shoulder. The subtle way she touches his lower jaw as she goes in for a kiss. The way her hair blows around her face and the unbridled exhilaration that happens from being really happy in a really beautiful place. The familiar touch of his hand on her lower back. Mom and dad holding hands as they watch their daughter say “I do.” And more, and more, and more.

It’s just magic.
